Objective:

• To look at differentially expressed genes in resistant and sensitive cultivars of soybean, during the invasion of the soybean cyst nematode (SCN) across a time course starting as early as 6 hours post SCN infection and going out as late as 8 days post infection. In total 7 time points were selected for this study: 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 4 days, 6 days and 8 days post SCN infection.
